Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO Website Hacked

An Indonesian hacker going with the handle of Surabayag3tar has hacked and defaced the official website of Bangladesh National Commission for UNESCO (http://www.bncu.gov.bd)under the Ministry of Education.

The site was left with a deface page along with a message, yet not explaining the reason for attacking Bangladeshi government site, according to the message:

To Admin :Kindly Patch Your System Immediately !!!Salam,Surabayagetar, Just passing by, trying to inform you about the security hole you got! | There’s Always A Crack In Everything, That’s How The Light Gets In.

According to BNCU site, the commission works under the Ministry of Education and maintains working relations with other Ministries, NGOs and Civil Society Organizations. BNCU also works closely with the UNESCO’s Country, Regional, Cluster Offices and Headquarters. Bangladesh Mission in Paris gives necessary support in timely communication and execution of BNCU programme.

At the time of publishing this article, BNCU website was hacked and displaying deface page left by the hacker.
